UK Arrests Four Iranians Suspected of Spying on London Jewish Community for Tehran

British counterterrorism police arrested four men in London on Friday on suspicion of assisting Iranian intelligence by surveilling locations and individuals linked to the city's Jewish community. The suspects were one Iranian national and three dual British-Iranian citizens aged 22, 40, 52, and 55, detained at addresses in the Barnet borough and in Watford. Six additional men were arrested in Harrow on suspicion of assisting an offender, and searches are ongoing at multiple properties. The arrests are part of a long-running investigation amid warnings from MI5 about over 20 potentially lethal Iran-backed plots targeting Jewish, Israeli-linked, and dissident figures in the UK.
