Trump Demands Unconditional Surrender From Iran as Putin Holds Talks With Iranian President
President Donald Trump demanded Iran's unconditional surrender on Truth Social, declaring there would be no deal with Iran except unconditional surrender as U.S. and Israeli airstrikes continued into a second week of conflict. Trump pledged that the U.S. and its allies would help rebuild Iran economically once it chose new leadership acceptable to the White House, days after Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed. The ultimatum came as Russian President Vladimir Putin held talks with Iran's president, raising questions about potential diplomatic mediation. White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said military operations were expected to last four to six weeks.
