Trump Backs Iranian Kurdish Forces Joining War, Vows US Will Choose Iran Next Leader

President Donald Trump on Thursday endorsed Iranian Kurdish armed forces crossing from Iraqi Kurdistan into Iran, stating he would be all for it. The declaration came as the seven-day conflict widened to involve Azerbaijan, Turkey, Cyprus, Gulf states, and naval engagements in the Indian Ocean. Iran has launched ballistic missiles and drones into at least a dozen countries since operations began Feb. 28, with at least 1,230 Iranians killed since the campaign started.
