Over 1,230 Civilians Reported Killed as US-Israeli Strikes Hit Schools, Hospitals and Cultural Sites in Iran
More than 1,230 civilians have been killed since the start of the US-Israeli military campaign against Iran, according to Tasnim news agency figures reported by Middle East Eye. Strikes damaged or destroyed at least 13 health facilities documented by the WHO, while mass casualty events occurred at multiple schools including 165 killed, mostly children ages 7-12, at Shajareh Tayyebeh primary school in Minab. The Red Crescent confirmed significant damage to its facilities, and the UNESCO-listed Golestan Palace in Tehran sustained damage to its historic interiors.
