Israel Eases Public Restrictions as Iranian Missile Fire Rate Drops 86%
The IDF Home Front Command announced Wednesday it will ease restrictions on the Israeli public starting Thursday at noon, shifting the activity scale from essential activity to limited activity as Iran's rate of ballistic missile fire on Israel slowed. Under the revised guidelines, gatherings of up to 50 people are permitted provided a shelter is accessible, and workplaces may operate under the same condition, though educational activities and beaches remain closed. A U.S. general confirmed Iran's missile fire against Israel and other countries had declined by 86% since the start of the conflict. The Finance Ministry had previously warned that continued restrictions would cost the Israeli economy NIS 9.4 billion ($3 billion) per week.
