Iranians Describe Life Under US-Israeli Strikes: Each Day Feels Like a Month
Iranians living through relentless US-Israeli airstrikes on Tehran describe a terrifying reality of near-constant explosions, internet blackouts, and security crackdowns, according to BBC Persian testimonials. More than 1,100 Iranian civilians have been killed since hostilities began on February 28, according to the Human Rights Activists News Agency; Iranian officials also report more than 160 people, including children, were killed when a girls school was struck in the southern city of Minab on Saturday. While some residents describe blast waves shaking their homes and leaving windows open to prevent shattering glass, others express hope that the fall of the Islamic regime may open the way to a better future for Iran.
