Senior Israeli officials told the Jerusalem Post that the US intends to continue operations until actual regime change occurs, with one official stating that Trump intends to go all the way and has no intention of taking his foot off the gas. The Iranian regime is currently struggling to manage the situation due to damage to senior leadership and strikes on mid-level commanders and facilities. Israel and the US have deliberately targeted at least 15 Tehran police stations and security forces to weaken the regime's ability to suppress anti-regime protests.
