Iran Threatens to Strike Dimona Nuclear Site if US and Israel Pursue Regime Change

An Iranian military official warned that Tehran would target the Dimona nuclear facility if the US and Israel attempted to topple the Iranian regime, ISNA reported. The threat emerged five days into Operation Epic Fury, a joint US-Israeli air campaign aimed at destroying Iran nuclear and ballistic missile capabilities. The Shimon Peres Negev Nuclear Research Center near Dimona is among the most heavily defended sites in Israel. Iran has launched multiple missile salvos during the conflict, causing casualties and prompting widespread evacuations.
